Grade II listing for Catford’s prefabs

The Excalibur estate in Catford consists of 187 steel-and-aluminium homes. It
was constructed in the 1940s by prisoners of par; at the time, the
properties were considered to be the height of luxury, with a bath, indoor
lavatory and a small garden.
