Britney Spears has put her six-bedroom LA mansion on the market for the optimistic price of $7.9 million after trying to sell it on and off since she bought it in January 2007 for $6.75 million. Rumour has it that pop's most public fame victim has been struggling to sell the 7,500 sq ft villa for months; her near neighbour in the Summit Circle gated development, Ed McMahon, Johnny Carson's former Tonight Show sidekick, finally shifted his own home by dropping the asking price. The television personality partly attributed his delayed sale to the paparazzi-drawing antics of the former Mrs Federline. She has recently viewed gated homes outside LA. Her house comes with furniture and artworks. Art collection by Ms Spears? No wonder it won't sell.
